Category 5: Lord of the Rings. LEGO is coming out with their own line of LOTR, here is your chance to show how YOU would design the sets. Build a MOC that depicts a scene from LOTR, and build it like you work for Lego. Therefore, playability is a major factor here as is great parts usage.

I chose to build a scene from Tolkien's less-read The Children of Hurin. I took the 'Build it like a lego set" to heart. This set is Mim's cave on Amon Rudh when Turin and his band are betrayed and attacked by orcs.



Play inside Mim's cave or on top of Amon Rudh!


Playablility feature: Roll the boulder in front of the entrance!


Includes five minifigures!

Nice job, I like the rocks! (5/5) I really liked the book, although it was sad and Mim is probably my least favorie dwarf.

It is a very sad book, and I wouldn't reccommend it for everyone, but I was trying to build something less expected than the trilogy or the Hobbit. Also, you just gave the ending away :P
