About this creation

Team Common Elements in Will It Blend?

One day Emma was walking in Heartlake City and found a secret lever near Olivia's tree house. She pulled the lever and found a passage which led to a catacomb - the home of an ancient dragon who was injured during the ancient Viking war of 2005.

His name was unpronounceable so Emma just called him Günter. He went on to explain the "doctrine of fear". She spread the word among her friends who knew their time to strike was at hand. First they needed allies. They reached out to all the other themes LEGO had abandoned over the years, but only one responded to their call - ZNAP!

Through Znap's superior technology, they rebuilt Günter better than ever. And so, this generation's Fright Knights (Fright Friends) go on to rule Heartlake City and beyond. Mwahaahaaa...

Günter's original face.

His flexible spine, head to tail.

Fright Friend's dragon saddle.

Mouth detail.

Günter's snazzy new Znap side with belly detail too.

The Znap side wing and face.

Günter in all his glory!

Tail detail.

Znap leg & wing details.

Znap wing with a booster engine.. Yes, of course.

Günter's mouth closes too - bit of an underbite - hey, who's chewing anyway?

Günter's rests in his new nest perched high above Heartlake City... waiting.

Always thought Znap would be a great supplimentary set for regular System sets.

Quoting Cody G This is one of the weirdest yet best-executed mash-ups ever. I'm surprised none of the judges tried to give you six points.
Hehe.. thanks!

Man, you could give Stormbringer a run for his money with that dragon design! The Znap integration is mind-blowing; I don't think I've ever seen a creation before use it. Fabulous job!

Quoting Kevin J. Walter Score = 5 (WHY GÜNTER?!?!)
It's the name of a friend's dog who was dying during the last few weeks... kind of a salute to him. He just passed aways yesterday. So it was a fitting tribute. Thanks for the score!

Quoting JS Can I think ZNAP was during my LEGO hiatus, but the yellow/red wing looks strange. Is it supposed to be that way based on the the theme?
Good question.. yes it's supposed to look weird because Znap is a weird LEGO product - And it's supposed to have been built onto the dragon by a group of Friends characters... sooo.. there you go. :)

Quoting Rocco Buttliere No idea what ZNAP is, but looks good the way you used it! As always, you've managed to produce another MOC consistent with your name!
Thanks. You'll have to look that up.. and incorporate some ZNAP into one of your micro scale buildings. You get to work on that and let me know how it goes. ;)
