Category 23. Vanishing Eden
Create a MOC that touches on environmental consciousness. Pick a life form or location from anywhere in the world that is threatened, and do a MOC that raises awareness.
I chose to build a coral reef, undoubtedly endangered, but I was surprised to see that no one had build it already. Maybe polar/panda bears are easier to build, IDK...

Front view. As you see I used a combination of SNOT and studs-up building, similar to this previous underwater scene.

Side view. I tried to include lots of different types of coral and underwater plants.

From above.
Thanks for viewing! This is my last entry for the MocAthalon. It has been a fun experience (although not a new one, in fact the third time), and it has really pushed me to do some builds that I would never have thought of doing otherwise.
I would like to thank the judges of the MocAthalon for doing such a good job setting up the contest, and keeping on track of the judging as well (except for Heath...)

Haha, just kidding, Heath :P
Good luck to everyone else in the contest, and I'm looking forward to participating next year! :)

Nice job! You have done some excellent parts usage here, especially with the use of the diver's fins. |

Good choice, the coral reef is very much in danger, and people don't seem to realize it... |

I don't think panda/polar bears are easier, I think they are just cuter! Some great details in there though. Score: scraping up a 4 |
