LCC-Loreos- A Conflict on the Coast.
This one was fun to build. :) I tried to make the cliff face more uneven looking. This is the biggest scene I've ever built, It's just a bit wider than my Hippodrome MOC. I tried some new tree techniques in this creation. The sand green (dino)palms in particular. Be sure to check out the LCC project out over at Classic~Castle.com
About this creation
A party of Garhim scouts was trekking deep into the coastal edges of Loreos, trying to discover weaknesses of the province. Alas for them, a patrol of two Loreesi fireships spotted them among the brush. The archers on board the galleys drew their bows to fire, and the captain of one of the ships demanded the Garhims' immediate surrender.

Fantastic! Great rock work, very convincing cliff. The boats are also very well done. You have a real knack for this type of scenery.

I have never seen water done like that before. The free bricks provide a perfectly random surface and it seems to really let the colors from the different depths mix nicely. I'll be back to look at this water again and again. Attack!

Quoting LWC guy Great job! I'm still tossing and turning over which faction to join, I'll be able to put some serious thought into it now that the MA is drawing to a close.
It depends on what you like, I like the Crusaders/Eastern theme of Loreos. And I would really like to see join the ranks of the Loreesi. :D @Blake, If the outlaws get any more awesome builders I will go insane! D: ;)

Quoting Elderon Eldar Looks great! Nice scene although a few close up shots would have been nice, I'm particularly interested in you boats. Always trying to find new way to build boats. I'm not really fond of your water technique, but since you use it in all of your MOC's that involved boats I think you should stick with them, it gives it kind of a signature (you know, apart from Mark of Falworth written on it with big letters:P )Oh and did you make your own sails? If so what did you use for material? Not for me but for someone else who was wondering. Once again, magnificent build! -greetings, Elderon
Thanks! I'm glad you like the scene. :) Yeah, some folks don't like my water technique, and then some do like it. :) There are lots more closeup views of the boats on my Flickr stream, if you're interested. ;) The sails are just plain paper.
