A year and a half ago I decided I wanted to venture into making a SHIP (Seriously Huge Investments in Parts).
My favorite theme is M:Tron. So I decided to make a Landship. A landship is basicly a dry version of a ship in the ocean. It hovers via repulsor lift drives and thruster units to manuever the ship. The idea of a Landship is from Dream Pod 9's game: Heavy Gear. It is in space, as it hovers around the main planet that M:Tron live on.
The M:Tron already has a large ground vehicle, but I wanted to add my love for Heavy Gear and M:Tron into one.
The ship itself is comprised of 5 levels.
Level 1 (Main Hull) Main hanger, Cargo bay 1, Engineering, Forward weapons and storage
Level 2 (Secondary Hull) Crew Quarters (including mess, medical and sleeping quarters), cargo bay 2, VTOL bay with working elevator, and forward weapons and power management.
Level 3 is the captian quarters
Level 4 is the bridge
Level 5 is observation and Electronic warfare support.
The Ship is a support unit, it has a fully stocked repair bay in the main hanger and VTOL hanger to support ships that land on the upper deck.
Cargo bay 2 is adapted to accept modular units for different missions.
Bloodwake went to Bricks by the Bay 2012 and won two awards in the space theme: Best in Space and Best Spaceship. Bloodwake was also number 8 out of ~300 other moc's in attendee's favorite MOC.
Thank you for viewing my first ship.
I Will be posting more pictures as I get a better setup to take pictures. Including interior pictures.
The Main picture is Bloodwake surrounded by fellow M:Tron vehicles and ships. Below the right Mega Core Magnetizer is one of my M:Tron Light Walker units.

This is Bloodwake at Bricks by The Bay 2012.

As noted here, virtually any spaceship from the classic space theme (excluding the extremely large ships) can land on the upper deck and be resupplied and even repaired!
