Rodrick "Rocky" Rockclimber
My entry to Chronos Omega and Ro Garcia's Hero Factory: Gear Up Contest. Wish me luck!
About this creation
"Whoops, almost dropped you there. Don't worry, it won't happen agai- God Dang It!"
-Rocky, to another hero

This is my entry for Chronos Omega and Ro Garcia’s Hero Factory: Gear Up Contest. Normally, I would weave a tale of heroics, but I am unfamiliar with Hero Factory’s story, so my story would be so uncanon that it would boggle the minds of average LEGO enthusiasts. So no story time… this time. Anyways, I am up against some pretty crazy builders in this contest. When I saw Overlord Galaxus's entry, I cried in anguish, since I know that I can't beat his build or his presentation. Oh well. Looks I'll be eliminated earlier than I expected.
(Note: I am now officially out of ball joints.)

(Quick) Bio:
Name: Rodrick Rockclimber
Gender: Male
Species: Robot?
Occupation: Hero
Weapons: Two hooks used for both climbing and offensive maneuvers
Likes: Fresh Air, High altitudes, and Climbing
Dislikes: Insults, Noise, and Sweets
Color: Dark Green
Secondary Color: Gunmetal

Rodrick: Hello Everybody. I’m here from Hero Factory to give a short presentation.

Rodrick: I'm wearing Hero Factory 4.0 armor that is specially designed for climbing.
Here's a quick 360 degree view.

Rodrick: My special helmet. I found it in a shady, run-down warehouse called Kanohi Corps. It looks interesting, so I took it. Your guess is as good as mine for who made it. It looks foreign though.

Rodrick: My coat, Made from scraps of fur from robotic mountain goats. It keeps the heat in, and it's so toasty and warm. It makes snow storms feel comfortable.

Rodrick: My waist.

Rodrick: My legs.

Rodrick: My two hooks. Useful for both climbing, and in a fight. You may notice that I don't have any handcuffs on me. Well, lets just say that I got in trouble at Hero Factory for more then a few things...

Rodrick: I requested my hero factory core to be on the back of my neck, so I don't have to open my coat to show verification and let the cold air in.

Rodrick: My backpack. It only carries essentials, and nothing more.

Rodrick: The back of my legs.

Rodrick: My lower arms. Looks like they misspelled "Rocky". That or they gave me some of Rocka's old armor.

Rodrick: This armor allows me to retain balance, although it is a bit heavy.

Rodrick: Standing on one foot is as easy as pie.

Rodrick: I think these hooks are some of the best climbing tools out there. Honest.

Rodrick: Wait, what are you doing here? It's not your turn to be posted yet.
???: Okay! You don't need to kick!

Rodrick: Sheesh. Heroes nowadays. Sometimes I feel that there is need for concern.

Rodrick: Well, I'll see you all later.

4 points for color scheme, 4 points for build, and 3.5 for category. Good work!

The shoulderpads make it look like he is very unposable in the arms. but otherwise nice.

You sir have won me over with personality, Rocky here is a bit of a card for me ^_^ I find it odd though that so far your the only one to think of carrying a pack to the mountains, so points for that. The core on the neck is oddball, but hey at least it's there, just don't get yourself in trouble with it. Rocka armor, that was hoot. ^_^

I like it, but the proportions look too much like a Toa metru.

There's just something about the proportions that seems a bit off... I can't place it though. That aside, this is great! But for Rodrick, a back-mounted core could pose problems... An easy target for one thing!... but also, picture having your heart on the back of your neck! Ugh. Nah, I'm just kidding, nice entry. :P

Cool! His posture is a little weird, but the overall details and personality make him an awesome build!
