It's nice to see that not everybody is polarized on the Hero Factory vs. Bionicle. I'm glad to see a little merger in the form of your MOC. (P.S. the eyes really sealed the deal for me!)

Sure thing. I use two pieces of white foam core board for a floor and backdrop. Some people use a paper roll. I use a tripod, and usually no flash. Then I almost always have to crop them in photoshop. Then I set the background level to pure white. Sometimes I adjust sharpness in photoshop as well. That's basically it. I'm still learning a lot about photography. Good luck.
