About this creation

Here are some closeup shots of the exterior and interior of my custom Falcon's cockpit. While the non-LEGO canopy piece (it was cut from my old Kenner Falcon) may offend purists, I simply have yet to come up with a satisfactory LEGO substitution, so I continue to use it ("juniorized" or not, I just feel that it adds a perfect touch to the ship).

Thanks! Some LEGO "purists" would say the canopy is cheating, but I figured "what the heck!" The green thing is an LED. There are red and green LEDs in the cockpit to provide some illumination in the dark.

i would have to agree that does look better. iam looking at my UC Falcon and its just not cutting it.

This is pretty good! I like the hallway. But you know you can try using grey lightsaber pieces for the lines in the canopy. Just have a go. You might find yourself with a good alternative for the canopy.
