I have really been impressed by some steampunk MOCs and the genre in general. So I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try my hand at a steampunk lighter-then-air ship. I thought about writing a story about the the vessel, her crew, and their adventures but that is not my area of expertise. I just like building them!

Awesome Airship! All the features are really nice, my favorite is probably the whole balloon system, especially the fire drive. I am currently scheming on doing one an Airship for my next build and this is great inspiration! |

Very nice. I have been wanting to build an airship for a while. And with the comment of yours on the MOTD today or something else from that guy, leme get to the point. U said u lived in an Oceanside. Im wondering what Oceanside as I live near one in NY. Just got curious as I know no one from here except for my friend who showed me this site a while back. But great zeppelin.
Thanks for the comment on the airship. I hope you decide to build one so I can check it out. I actually live in Oceanside CA. |

Very nice, I like airships and this one particular has a great balloon.
Thanks, The whole build was built around the parts used to make the Balloon. It was my first Steampunk build and I am really happy with the way it turned out. |

I have to admit, the rolling canon is pretty inovative. I remember when Johnny Thunder and company were galavanting round the world. Good memories. The piece is well-detailed, and it would be nice if the gondala was a little smoother inside.

Wow! Love the adventure feel of it! The balloon is great! Love the cannon wheels, mind if I use it sometime (giving credit of course)?
Thanks for the comments. Use what ever you like, no credit needed. This is a public website so I am glad I inspired you in anyway. I will keep a look out on your page for any new builds!

That's a great MOC. Did you get some new pieces; it's really not like anything I've seen you do before? Hanging from wires for the photo was a good investment; seeing those oars paddle air is great. The final photo of the cannon that uses steering wheels for wheels is brilliant. All round well done!
Thanks! I had a lot of the brown and tan pieces but haven't used them that much because I mostly do space stuff. I wanted to try steampunk because of some of the really great stuff I have seen hear and to step out from my norm and use some parts that were just collecting dust. |
