However, it was badly timed...

...right in the middle of training.

I'm a little busy with Darth here.

Victory!

First, the mess hall.

I'm EXTREMELY proud of these doors. Thanks to a chain mechanism and gravity, halves of the door slide open at the same time!

The mess hall, with the kitchen beneath.

The basement of the laboratory building, used as a testing zone.

The middle can be removed for a combat situation.

While I'm at it, this is my flawless Portal turret!

The amazing laboratory! Consisting of:
-Some odd power source;
-A bulletin board;
-A floating globe;
-A triangular observation hatch into the testing room;
-An equipment rack;
-A building table;
-A tri-clawed robotic arm.

My study! I swear I've had that old radio forever. I like it. I based it off the radio from the Great Minifig Mission.

If you stick a briefcase in there...

...the lamp lights up! (I know, poor shot.)

Outside guns.

...and finally, the high turret. Ugh, another bad shot.

plenty of great concepts on this nice piece! the door with chains, outside hidden turrets, cool control rooms, and an x-men like danger-training room! excellent work zam!

Sorry about the story-telling. I just had a great new idea for the base so I had to wrap it up as quickly as possible.
