Sandra Rockslide
My entry to Chronos Omega's "Hero Factory: Gear Up" contest.
About this creation
Sandra is equipped with huge, spiked boots used for sticking into sides of mountains. (Or into sides of villains that really make her mad.)

She also has large claws for hands. These can grab into the mountains and are her main source of climbing power.

While she's climbing a mountain, she's not going to have much defense against airborne attackers. These massive cannons were the solution to her problem. They can swivel in all directions, but are mostly needed behind her while she's facing a mountain.

These guns are so powerful that Sandra needs to be firmly rooted in place in order to fire them, so it is necessary for her to be hanging on a mountain.

The guns are controlled by Sandra through her helmet. It accesses her brain and she can give commands to the guns via her thoughts. She had to undergo hard training in order to master the skill of operating them.

At higher altitudes there is much less oxygen, so Sandra needs oxygen tubes to keep her alive. These tubes are fed into her helmet, which is completely sealed so it provides a kind of oxygen bubble in her helmet. THe helmet also equalizes itself with the pressure of the outside to keep from crushing Sandra's head under the pressure.

The tubes are fed down her back...

and into oxygen tanks stored in Her shoulders. Her heavy armor protects the tanks from damage.

Her boots have armor as well.

Her Hero Core is located on her waist, a less dangerous part of the body than the chest.

Armor similar to that of her shoulder's is placed all across her upper body to protect from falling rocks, hence her name: Rockslide.

Thanks for viewing!

5 on the build, 5 on the color scheme, 4.5 on the adaptions. I see a major weakness of the spiked boots would be that similar to running with skis, Sandra can't move very fast over flat land. Anyway, good work!

Actually, I don't mind the core's placement. It's ironic though (irony is good in my book, by the way): they are robots. What need do they have for what you're implying?

Attention everyone who thinks the HF core Placement is... awkward. It was meant to be like a belt buckle!

Quoting Ro Garcia This is actually pretty nice. The concept is nice and the build is well thought out. The only thing that does bug me is the core placement, it's like she's asking for core hunter or my villain Exile to reach for it, if you know what I mean. Joking aside, the thing that bugs me more is her waist, I find it TOO thin looking. Other than that, good job man.
Thanks! I totally see what you mean with regards to the Hero Core. Hopefully Exile never meets her. The waist is also too thin, I agree. Thanks again man!

Hmmm, it seems Vanessa has some competition! I'm not to sure about the feet/boots, those pieces are rather long and thin for feet, esspecially on a MOC this bulky. And the H core placement seems... awkward :P The upper body looks great though, love all the armor!

This is a really cool hf moc! The hf core placement is just throwing me off though, if you could have stuck it behind her chest plate or on her back I think that would help. Other then that though awesome!

As stated by LA, core placement is awkward. Other than that this is really awesome, the whole MOC just flows together well.

I love the head. Yeah, it's pretty simple, but I love it. The upper torso (head and shoulders) are also wonderful. But... I'm the only one who realizes WHERE did she has the Core? It's a bit... down, I think xD Well, awesome entry, this is my favourite with Nate Climber in all the contest. Good luck, hope you win!
