In the late war, the years before the final battle, the Shield of Valor-type armored personnel carrier was commissioned to protect soldiers from enemy fire(fire which was becoming ever more hot). It was also tasked with the running over of Mentry assault machines. Basically it served as a massive lawnmower. It would only be armed with two machineguns standard to save space and weight, but it could take rather large weapons. The ammunition would have to be stored inside, though, taking up some of the space for troops. It could seat up to six of them normally. I hear it's great for that Los Angeles traffic.
