Boba Fett has got to be one of my favorite Star Wars characters...his armor is iconic; recently my son came home with a pack of Lego Mandalorians and I nearly confiscated them (there are a lot of small parts...yeah, he didn't buy it either.) I recently finished a Lego Dropship complete with APC and started messing around with a Loader to go along with the set. I had to order a ton of Blueish-Gray parts and I had a few left over. I really liked the color combination with the Mandalorians and decided to put together a heavy combat suit to engage Imperial forces. I added a 'Range-finder' to the right shoulder and 'Jet-Pack' to go along with the Fett theme. Also, on each hip you see additional blasters for the pilot. I admit, even though I'm a huge fan of Star Wars I haven't researched the existence of suits like this in the story universe...I just like to build Mechs and had the inspiration to give one a Star Wars twist! I'll post the Stormtrooper version next.
Comments would be most welcome!
About this creation
Rear view showing off the "Jet-Pack"
A top down view
Standing guard..."You take the guy in the middle..."
A sortie on Hoth? A slightly different build around the visor.
Your Standard front shot. The armor version is equipped with a heavy blaster in the right hand and forearm flamer. The left arm is equipped with a proton torpedo laucher. The suits range finder is located on the right-hand shoulder.
Exosuit with the visor open...perhaps the com system is down and he needs to shout his commands to his squad mates.
A little closer look at the leg details. The whole suit has a really good range of motion; the shoulders, elbows, hips, knees and feet all articulate as you would expect a body to move and 'hands' can be added using the claw clips to hold rifles and the like.
awesome mech, not seen anything like this in the Star wars universe but doesn't look out of place with the Mandalorian. would like this as part of the Mandalorian army I'm building
