About this creation
This is the final version of Ecto-1 that I have been working on non-stop for 3 weeks in LDD ( I didn't have all the correct pieces unfortunately). I really think that it would be great to have a Lego Ghostbusters product line but mostly wanted one for myself and my kids.

This is designed to be mostly accurate and detailed. That said it is also not a large scale model and is designed to be simple to build, cheap (547 bricks so maybe $90+), fits 4 to 5 minifigures, and is built to be strong. The drivers and passengers doors open but not the rear or trunk. Those and the hood may be changed to open in the future. The only thing missing is the door decal but I work with what is available.... Better pics will be uploaded once the real thing is built including minifigs.

Ha, that's great! I can clearly remember many afternoons of my youth spent watching Ghostbusters and building and rebuilding my own Ecto 1. The rocket truck from Buckaroo Banzai was another favorite build! You should try that!
