Hey Guys! It's been awhile since I've posted anything on Mocpages. :) This is a
Lego Transformer I made, loosely based on the Prime Vehicon figure. I just really like the shoulders on that figure. I decided to start with a wider vehicle using ten studs across rather that eight. This gave a little bit more room for the transforming.
I must give a shout to Chris Roach for all his creations. I'm sure you can see his influence here!
Wow. This look really cool. I really love the chest design. Ima make my own. People want instructions, would you mind if I provided them (they won't be 100%, but I've had a pretty good record recreating Chris Roach's legoformers) I really appreciate the back pics.
To quoute J Spoor, here's how he transforms:
The rear of the car becomes the legs, because you can see the rear bumper and tail lights as his kneecaps. Also, the roof and wind shield fold into the insides of the legs. The upper body spins 180 degrees on the waist joint and the headlights and front fenders become the shoulder pieces. Finally, the hood of the car folds onto the back. Sounds hard, but it's pretty simple.
That is sweet looking! Vehicle mode looks very smooth and the robot mode looks like a classic G1 form. I know you've heard this but, the color contrasts really go well. If you switched the colors it would almost look like a G1 Sideswipe.
Is there anything above 5/5 smileys? This is an awesome Transformer. The vehicle mode is very sleek. The robot mode looks sturdy and well built. The decision to go with a red robot body really sets it apart from the vehicle shell. I love it!
