After escaping through the besieged Draida Bay, the two adventures make their way to the Waldurk forest...
About this creation
Ah, my second MOC. This was originally created for a landscaping contest I was challenged to on a LEGO fan site. Although it eventually lost, it was an excellent exercise for me on creating more realistic nature scenes.


The entire MOC. As per the intro above, it is meant to be a minifig-scale version of one of the Heroica board games, linking Draida Bay with Waldurk Forest.

The Wizard and the Barbarian. I did my best to recreate the micro-scale figures, and I believe I succeeded... Although the Barbarian could probably benefit from a muscle torso.


The waterfall. I would have liked to have used a more advanced technique, but my comparatively small brick collection allows only so much creativity.


The other main feature, the tree. I'm quite proud of this, especially since it's the first tree I've built outside an official set. Note the vine curving around the trunk.

Otherness: I owe much of this creation to this excellent tutorial , specifically the water and surrounding area. If anyone is considering looking into that sort of building, I highly recommend it. On that note...
