About this creation
I noticed I had collected a fair amount of artifacts over the years: sarcophaguses, pagodas, treasure chests, cannons, gold, jewels, chalices, flags, doors, statues, etc. I needed a place to put them (they were cluttering my desk), and came up with this neat little idea. It's not impressive, I know, but the notion of some lost warehouse containing history's greatest artifacts is just too cool to let go.

EDIT: I know, I know, I should've added the boxed-up Ark of the Covenant. Damn my lack of foresight.

So here it is. It's a personal project, intended to impress no one, but something I wanted to do. Sometimes you just gotta follow your heart, man.

In a nondescript warehouse in the barren Nevada desert...

...lie some of the greatest treasures known to man.

The collection spans from ancient Egypt...

...to medieval England...

...from the golden age of piracy...

...to feudal Japan...

and even prehistoric times.

Lost in the sand, forgotten by all...

Now go and find it, kiddies.

I start reading and I think "Hey, my review can be - don't worry about the Ark Alex, it's being taken care of by top men." Then I start reading the other reviews and lo and behold Mr. Young has already taken it! (Quotes closing line from planet of the apes with fists clinched!!!) Did I rant again? sorry. Your builds are either going to inspire me to greatness or drive me insane with jealousy (either way, someone (Brickshelf or my shrink) are getting paid). Later ~ Chris.

If you had some warehouse worker wheel in a crated Ark of the Covenant, I would give this 6 stars.

Miniture clutter, great idea. I have a real room like that, if only I could get it into Lego scale.

Kind of like the warehouse where the ark goes at the end of the first Indiana Jones movie. Gov't guy: "We have top men working on it right now." Indy: "Who?" Gov't guy: "Top. Men."

What a fantastic idea! It's like looking in the Pitt Rivers Museum in Oxford. I love the simplicity of the building although it's nothing like the Pitt Rivers.
