I am not overly pleased with this moc but I thought it was worth posting a few pics. I am struggling for inspiration at the moment and also running very low on pieces (due to having too many mocs built). So with the relatively few pieces I have left I have made this - a multi coloured Cyber Angel. The wing technique is from my firebird, and the body from my superhero range. Both have been refined and will probably feature again in future mocs.
Edit: The closed wings are completely separate structures and do not fold away.
Hi everyone. Just got back from a 10 day holiday in Spain and what a brilliant (and lucky) surprise. I am over the moon :D. Shame I wasn’t here to enjoy live, but I get to read all your wonderful comments now – thanks everyone.

DUDE! MOTD! AWESOME! It's about time! Picking myself up off the floor, and dusting myself off ofter psychotic episode! Very cool M!
Well, you wanted to be famous, and I suppose MOCpages granted your wish! It's a pity that you're away so you can't see this MOC on the homepage in all its glory. Well deserved MOTD, Joe! Now I envy you even more - you've got tons of LEGO, tons of skill, likes, and you're now famous! ;-) -LB Jr.
Thanks Matthew, Andrew, Mastermind, Tom, Allan and Chris :D. @ Matthew - I must stress that the wings do not fold away. The closed wings are completely separate structures. I am very sorry to you, and anyone else who has been misled by the photos. I will edit the description. I built this before the Panther, but added the photo of both of them at a later date.
Let's make it 95 likes! Nice job MortalSwordsman! Great idea for the wing display! I thought it was just regular cool wings at first, but as I kept scrolling down, it can actually fold and unfold! Superb! Did you post this after you posted the panther I commented on? They are both amazing creations! Love it! Thanks for commenting on my creation, every one like and comment helps!
Haha. Thanks Marcus that means a lot :). Luckily I built this a few weeks ago but i have been struggling ever since. Currently dismantling several models to start the next set of mocs. Hopefully inspiration will come soon.
Absolutely outstanding work, mate! I didn't even notice it was blogged on BB (congrats!) but when I saw this on Flickr I was totally amazed by it. What will happen when your struggling for inspiration stops? Something beyond imagination, I am afraid ... ;-)

Great designs, did you take inspiration from Ixrolloutix?
Thanks for the comment Nick. I am not familiar with Ixrolloutix but my inspiration for these types of mocs come from Moodswim and Chris Roach. The wings however, are completely my one idea(but I am sure others have used similar a technique before me) Thanks again.
M, congratulations on the success of this MOC, you deserve it, it is absolutely killer! I read your description, and it is funny how the one's that are average to you, blow everybody away! I think that is the sign of an advanced builder! Hats off, Chris
Excellent work, those wings go so well with that body type, for some reason. Despite being one of those "what pieces are still available?" kind of MOCs, this is really cool. I'd say to keep this assembled and refine it once you have more parts to work with.
Hi Thomas. Honesty is always the best policy and I appreciate your feedback. I like the head from the side view but not the front so much. Be warned these wings are fragile at this size. The 1x1 round plates between the wings help to give it some strength. Good luck :D
Cool moc! since you state outright that you are not satisfied I'll be honest and say the head needs work. That being said it is really nice work for being in a "slump." The wing tecnique is very cool. Next time my son asks for a dragon (which is everytime we play) I'll give your wing style a go

Do you have a hard time keeping this together? Do your kids try to break it? My siblings (especially my sister) are constantly breaking my cars, especially the mirrors. Haha -LB Jr.
Hahaha yeah this one is for display only. They think this is me!!! LOL. It is sturdy enough to play with without the wings. I do let my kids play with my car mocs - they usually pull the HOG steering off. hahaha. We have got to the stage now that when if I build a car without HOG steering they ask; "where is the steering thingy daddy?". They even check to see if the steering wheel is attached. Bless 'em.
Hi Mortal, hope you are well. This angel is pure exellence! Those wings look awsome, and i love the technique you used there.Well done,5/5.I'm going to TRY to start the Transporter project very soon, but before it,i'm going to build one last MOC;)
@ Fritz – Yeah I know what you mean, it definitely has a transformer feel to it. @ Tommy – Thanks dude :D. @ Steffen – I think it might take me two months to dismantle and sort too haha. Maybe we should employ our kids to do it – No son those pieces don’t go there ;)
That's great angel with cool wings!
(And I know what you are talking about. Sitting in the middle of stacks of boxes filled with LEGO pieces, but no more 1x1 plates in black left. And you know where they are built in...
I think I spent 90% of my LEGO time in January and February disassembling my and my kid's creations. And then sorting...)
Thanks guys that means a lot. There are elements I like – the wings, six pack and chest but I am just not ‘feeling it’. I am my own worst critic. @ Tomaso – Do it, I cant wait to see what you are planning. :D
Thanks LB. Yeah I know its madness. A large majority of my collection is technic, and most of my ‘basic’ lego has been used for other mocs. I think I am going to bite the bullet and take some of them apart tonight.
Very cool! I can see that you're right about not being able to stop building large figures. When you said that you are short on pieces, my first thought was, "How is that even possible?" You have so much LEGO! The wings are nice, but I don't like how they're fragile. :) Still 5/5 -LB Jr.
Thanks guys :D. @ El Barto - Yeah I don’t think these wings would support flight ;). If only I had some more 1x plates. I have literally used all my remaining long plates to make this. I think I need a mega dismantling session :(
