I was a little unsure the astromech was a right choice, till you mention this is intended as an alternate reality, therefore the fact the Empire hardly ever uses R2 units is irrelevant. I understand what you mean, however, this ship comes from a time rather located at the end of the Clone Wars. Although its design is very advanced, the fact remains ... a prototype or a unique piece, like the "rogue shadow". As I said in my previous comment, the droid has a more utilitarian function than actually military. 5/5

One thing though is the need for an Astromech Droid... As big as this fighter is, its surprising that the designer wasn't able to fit some targeting systems into the ship itself...
