General ######,
Combat trials of the TC-84 all purpose mechanized combat suit have been successfully completed and the "bravo" unit has been released to your control for field testing.

The basic unit can be modified using modular kits to fulfill any roll required. Four combat packs have been included in the initial shipment.

Kit #1 comes with a MK-85 machine gun, Silksteel combat shield, and the standard AIM-590 NATO rocket round launchers on the shoulders.

Kit #2 comes with a R-400 long range rifle, an SR-80 military grade sensor package mounted to the back which connects to the enhanced optical sensors, and the standard rocket packs.

Kit #3 comes with an MA-45 heavy assault rifle, a Silksteel combat shield, and an additional rear mounted rocket pack.

Kit #4 contains some of the most advanced technology of the group. This includes an MR-80 silenced assault rifle, an arcofibrus combat blade, and the new ############-######## stealth field generator.

The stealth field generator ## ######## #####, ##### ##########: ###.
At the conclusion of field tests, please forward your report to ##########-####.

Very nice presentation and great coloring. Your effects are quite good, and an excellent choice of backgrounds. ^Blub^ |

Sorry I didn't comment sooner, this is one of the best LDD mechs I have seen. I love how they are humanoid but still look somewhat realistic. |

Impressive work here. Great photo work as well. In reply to your comment on my creation: The program I use is MLCad, also called LDraw, and for rendering LDView. http://www.ldraw.org/ is where you can get it. Unfortunately they don't snap like LDD, but that allows one to build things that LDD doesn't think is possible (even if in reality they are) |

Thanks for the comment! Sorry I didn't answer this sooner. It was very simple, I got a cutout of the green parts of the picture, turned up the contrast of it, blurred the cutout, made it slightly translucent and stuck it back on. :)
Ingenious! I'll for sure be using that trick some time soon.

This is one very slick design. I like the creativity and style on this one. How did you get the cover picture to glow like that? I would love to do more work with lighting effects in LDD.

Nice Mechs, i wish i could be as good as you, I never find the satisfaction in my mechas that i do in other peoples creations. 5/5
Thank you for your comments, but I should point out, as is stated in my acknowledgements, that I didn't design the mech, just present it. That was the point of this contest. A link the the creator of the mech is provided above. If you would ever like to discuss presentation techniques, however, I'm happy to talk about how I do that. |
