An old rifle from waaay back
Ah, memories, preserved forever in the digital marvel of zeroes and ones... This is an old "assault rifle" (now, in my wiser years, I know that by that magazine, it could only be an SMG in the body of an AR or a .30 carbine in an AR's body) that I made about 6 years ago [ I learned my LEGOs quick ;) ]. You'll notice here that I put a rudimentry flip-up sight on this version, which I don't remember much about, aside that you could line it up with either of the front-sight's holes to aim at higher or lower targets.
About this creation

You'll notice here that I put a rudimentry flip-up sight on this version, which I don't remember much about, aside that you could line it up with either of the front-sight's holes to aim at higher or lower targets.

You can see here that I was resourceful, even in my early days, and managed to fit it with an "ACOG", which was simply one of my large two-plate-thick 4x16 pieces with some single-wide bricks on the edges, leaving the two middle studs open, and the brown shell-halves from an old Star Wars set, so that there was a roughly square space for looking through. Sorry, didn't take any POV pics looking through it. CURSE MY FOOLISHNESS!Anyway, my ACOGs haven't changed much since then, since I lack a large supply of non-square(ish) bricks and have about enough round pieces to make a 2-brick-thick stack, although I have added cross-hairs.

You can see two different magazines in this rifle-thingy-that-I'm-not-sure-what-to-call; the first is a staggered-brick stack, very simple, 2x4, with flat-top plates at the head (again, no picks. I WAS 10!) to keep it from attatching to the inside of the mag-well. It relied wholly upon friction to stay in, and it often fell out, so this thing got ripped apart pretty quickly after the "Look what I made!" pride period (which, incidently, ended when I found this site and saw all the amazing stuff you people build. Took me down a few notches, eh?). Anyways, the second mag-type is a casket magazine (wiki it, people; I can't explain everything!), which is 4x4, and narrows back to the same 2x4 top section as the "bannana" mag via four 2x2 45-degree-slant roof tiles. I still enjoy looking back at this and seeing how over-confident I was in my frankenstien creations, so I figured I'd share it with the rest of you.

Quoting Brixwhiz . Hmm... Looks like an ACR.
Well, I suppose a tad. It wasn't based on any particular weapon; just freestyle goofing off from a budding gunsmith. More to follow as soon as I find my old SD cards!
