Lemon car
1980 CitroŽn 2CV "Charleston"
About this creation
This small model is just 4-wide. Build in the "rare" colour dark red.
This must be the 5th time I build a 2CV version, so I am sorry if I am tiring you guys...
The "Charleston" model was made in 1980, but for the purpose of the MegaMOC I will pretend it is a little older. (That is easy, as its colour-scheme is a salute to french ī20ies fashion)

This is the other of only 2 european cars for the project.

PS: Nick; I assure you; this is PURE coincidence. I am not stalking you (or your cars) or anything like that. I suppose we simply share a certain taste in cars. LOL

PPS: Credit must of course again be given to .eti, whose idea for the wheel-covers and roofline makes these models possible.

Very detailed,I love it! Unfortunately I do not have the dark red peices to build it so I used standard red.

Hello Henrik, I have downloaded the instructions from hyspanic magazine, but the instructions do not understand the code of the wheels and tires. In addition to looking at the pictures you posted and looking at the instructions in the 2cv tires and wheels are different. You can tell me the codes of the wheels and tires? thanks Umberto

Quoting Umberto Ramaglia Very nice! There is a instruction for this beautiful work??
Thanks. A set of instructions was published in HispaBrick Magazine #14, which is freely downloadable on the net.

Outstanding design, like your other 2 CVs. The headlights of your 2 CVs are an example of great Lego design IMHO. They are anything but lights - you omit the "light quality" of the detail in order to stress a specific shape which makes the car ... Fantastic stuff.

Quoting Rabbitdesign MB Hi I am a great fan of 2CV. Kan je add a picture of the bottom I cant get the front part with the bumper.
Full instruction may be published in the next issue of Hispabrick Magazine (english version) -if they accept it. Meanwhile I can tell you that the front bumber is held in place by a 2x2 tile which shares space on the axle-plate of the front wheels. Itīs all normal SOT. No magic here...(Hope that helps...)

The black cheese slope that ties into the running board, behind the front fender is the sort of detail that defines your work. The profile is recognizable as CitroŽn even at a glance. Attack!
