Quoting Jonah L. I'm obsessed with snorkels. I love them. This is the best I've seen. It's big like the real thing but stays at minifigure scale. I love this. If you ever get tired of it and wanted to sell it, I'm the guy to take it off your hands.
Thank you! I too love the snorkel, don't know if it is due to growing up in Chicago or not (probably has a little bit to do with it)...

Quoting Bob K Love it! The best snorkel I've seen built to date in the entire Lego community! The body length with the long boom screams of snorkel! Wonderful job, D!
Thanks Bob! That means a lot coming from the LFC Historian!

Quoting john lanthier hey D H excellant work my freind great job i love it. the Snorkels and the Bronto are my two favorite types of rigs and i think you have done a supurb job.
Thank you! I am a big fan of snorkels as well! Not many people have built them, and it is sad to see that ALF won't build them anymore!

Quoting Lego Fire Museum Inc. I give you and E for effort with this truck. You clearly put a lot of effort into this and it shows. I am not sure that it looks like a Maxim, but you are going in the right direction. The Maxim has a flatter face but I know why you bumped it out like you did. Keep in mind that this is the reason why I haven't built a Maxim yet so I admire your work and tackling this challenging cab. The rest of the truck is superior too. Keep up the good work.
Thank you, well, the rig is modeled after Munster, Ind former snorkel that is now in Riverdale, IL. and if you look at the rig, the cab juts out slightly and I felt that adding this detail rather than leaving it flat made it look more like the cab. Unfortunately with a 6 wide vehicle the space is very limited. And LEGO doesn't quite have the pieces for the proper look.
