Pteranodon Longiceps
this is my version of a Pteranodon longiceps, arguably the most well-known pterosaur. again, this is not a dinosaur. this is not a bird, either. (however, dinosaurs and pterosaurs most likely evolved from the same root.) it was probably not all light gray in real life. this was taken using the webcam, so the pictures are fuzzy.
About this creation
walking.

flying.

not really much more to say here.

Wow! You have given me an idea on how to make my own custom pterosaur which can fold its wings and walk on all fours. I was wanting an idea, since I am making a movie featuring Beowulf battling the dragon, which I believe was a type of giant pterosaur, but I needed it to be able to retract its wings. Thanks for the idea!

Quoting Dawn of Greatness You seem to have a knack for making animals! Great job!
thanks! in fact, right now I am working on a 36x36 stud wide prehistoric diorama, featuring my favorite animal of all time, deinonychus!

Quoting Magic Head aka Will Cool! Looks kinda Mecha!
Actually, i did consider making it a mech after i was done because it looked so much like one. Pteranodon was also in Jurassic Park III. However, they probably only ate fish, not people.
