I just love the colors in this one, another great bird. You have quite the bird collection now, it seems! And of course, your presentation is just perfect. Nice work! (sorry to be so far behind on commenting, I have been extremely busy the past few weeks!) |

very cute! the feeder turned out good for me, naturally you get to see more of them than me, so you probably expect more, I like the nest too, very well done! but, is nt there a joker egg in there? lol! well done tom! Thanks Frank! I think the suet feeder would have looked better if had used different colour plates round the outside but hey I'm never happy as I'm a perfectionist lol The Joker egg is the "Bad Egg" ;-)

All your bird creations are gorgeous! I am loving every one more then the last. My favorite bird right now is the California valley quail if you are taking request. Hey Brody thanks for the kind words! I'll be honest I have so many birds I'd like to build that this will more than likely not be one of them, sorry about that. Judging from your Out of Comfort Zone entry I reckon you should give it a try I think you might surprise yourself ;-)

Soooo cute to see all you birds build whit Lego, I hope the make a soundbrick whit the sounds of a goldfinch for you. That would be the finishing touch.....great stuff, I would never thought of it to build things like that Thanks again Frank! A sound brick sounds interesting :-)

Epic! I have one question: How do you make those eggs stick together? I see this type of thing everywhere, is it just glue? Thank you! I would never use glue on my Lego, they are held together using a 2 long technic axle http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=32062. Pretty straight forward really ;-)

Nice! What's the white bit in the beak? Thank you! It's a white four long bar which runs right the way through her head through two 1x1 modified bricks with four studs. I thought it helped to make the beak look a bit more pointy.

Far from the race-cars, you're developping impressive skills. You're improving the background and it's very rich!! The idea of the nest is cool, too. Beautiful job!! |

Spectacular! I love the excellent use of the handcuffs and the nest. Now while I sit here watching a playful bright yellow goldfinch fly around my yard I think this is quite a nice recreation of the British goldfinch. Great job. Thank you again Gale! I'd love to have the pleasure of seeing your native Goldfinches, I've only seen pictures.
