I have to keep an eye on your page. You move so fast on these builds that you are constantly sneaking them in on me. This is a cool mech. Nice use of the canopy standing it upright like that. I see you threw in some more minifig legs. Great job there. Especially the top group, in the sitting position. I like the effect that the bottom of the feet have there. |

nice loader! I really like the concept of making new stuff with old classic space! I can t wait to see your next attempt, I had the chance to find a used blacktron kit, in very good condition at the flee market, I m sure you d like the little story I did, since we re about the same age, lol! I'll check it out. Expect more ambitious classic space MOCs from me soon (with childhood chewed pieces and all).

clever use of the minifig legs as hinges. You've definitely captured the classic feel, even managed a very retro style which most modern "classic space" builders try to minimise. |

Really vintage feel to it. Your color planning and part usage is getting better and better. I like the pigeon toed stance! I could see it being like a bull in a china shop. How do you have so much time to build you are adding something almost every other day! The thing that really makes me mad are they are all good too!!
I didn't mean to make you mad Brody ;) I don't think I have a lot of time to build, however I am quite quick at building and because of piece limits nothing is that big. This fellow took about 45 mins to build and was completed while I helped the wife look after the kids. Often I'll suggest to my two children if I'm looking after them, that we play Lego. My daughter(4) is into her pink creator Lego, and recently got her first Lego fiends set; my son 2 has his duplo and dare I say big bucket of mega blocks. I probably complete a couple of quick mocs a week from this arrangement. Normally I work on something else abit more challenging in the evenings, in that window of opportunity when the wife watches the soaps. At the moment I'm working on a wyvern (there are so many dragons on MOCpages I thought I'd try something a little different) which I hope to finish today, seeing as its bank holiday Monday. |

This is very cool, it looks tall and lanky,I can imagine it taking huge crashing steps. Although in reality it wouldn't be able to do that since his legs can hardly go foreward, hence the position of the pants/joints. Overall it looks great but I love playability, so I'd say 4/5.
Great job!
Thanks, and valid criticism; I'll work on the joint positioning on my next build.

I love this David. Inspired by Aliens perhaps? I have a very similar moc planned. The colours are perfect especially the flashes of yellow and black, and those leg techniques are brilliant. The jumper plate (at the very top) holding the red light is rather chewed. lol. I remember biting those off as a kid :D
That's what happens when you use your old Lego, all those abuses go on show. Many of my pieces are in less than perfect condition. |
