This is my entry for the 2012 Out of Your Comfort Zone Contest.
The catagory I was given was: Sculptue.
About this creation
I can't say I am proud of this. I was rather stuck with the catagory; Sculpture and I didn't really have time to build a proper sculpture. So, I decided to go into minifig scale. It may not be that far from my comfort zone, but the Moai isn't the useual thing I would build.
Score = 3. You get a three because the category is sculpture and your sculpture is well done. Nice job on the parts usage for the piece. If you wanted to improve the whole scene, I would consolidate the plants around the sculpture's base and the opposite corner so you have a pathway of sand diagonally across the center to create a more dynamic and real vignette. Nice job.

It's alright nowhere near as good as your normal builds. Maybe if you made it bigger you could have made it better by adding more detail. Another way you could improve it is by adding a better base like the ones in Deff's Lego Models.
I think this is good. You made a sculpture of a sculpture. It was easily recognizable and your part usage and angles were nicely done. It may not be as good as your other stuff but that is the whole point.
This is really good!
The face with all the angles and inclines is good, however, the chin and the rest lets it down.
Also Maybe you could Increase the light levels of your photos, it would make your builds looks so much better!
