PBC R2: Fluor'sis, Toa of Fluorine
Sorry if this guy isn't the best, I've been putting a lot of work into him until I realized that today's my last chance(due to business tomorrow) to post him. So here's Fluor'sis, Toa of Fluorine.
About this creation
Name: Fluor'sis
Gender: Male
Species: Matoran
Race: Matoran
Element: Fluorine
Occupation: Unknown
Title(s): Toa, Brother,
Kanohi: Unknown
Alignment: formerly Chaotic Good, Lawful Good
Moc Status: Disassembled

Bio: Fluor'sis's history is unknown, but he was formerly a jittery, excited fellow who often got into trouble for using his strange element so wildly. Over time he has grown wiser and stronger, and has realized that his abilities are too great to be used for his own good. His primary weapon is a small blade which he can channel his element through, which often results in burning things up.

Okay, that was mediocre, but hopefully the moc can make up for it!

Front view.

Back view.

Head. Lately I've been making a lot more custom heads than simple masked ones, and I have to say I'm proud of this one. :)

Chest: If you're wondering about the trans studs, let me explain: Fluorine is an isotope, and has 10 neutrons, 9 electrons, and 9 protons. Therefore, the trans-lime studs on the chest represent 5/10 of the neutrons, and the belt has 9 protons and electrons, one on each side of the chain.

The back has the other 5/10ths of the trans-lime neutrons, as well as the rest of the belt.

If you haven't noticed already, this is the strange technique I used for the body. Feel free to try it(credit appreciated), although it's sometimes a little hard to position correctly.

Now for some action poses! :D

Another one....

KICK!

Now for comparisons: Here he is with ol' Cal.

And here he is with our contest's host, Phosphorus, AND last round's entry, Irony. :)

Callan: Hey Phos, Fluor'sis here told me that using Fluorine as an element has been a hit!
Phos: Oh yeah, lot's of people like it. Why bring it up?
Callan: Oh, I was just wondering who came up with this great element idea?
Phos: Uh, well.. I .... erm.......................
(Don't get it? Only Phos should. ;D)

Fluor'sis: Later mighty Mocpage people, hope you like me!
Callan and Phos: Bye!

Fourth Wall Apology:
Sorry if you feel the build's too systemy, I had a lot less yellow HF pieces than I thought I did. Luckily, he's 98% custom(non-custom feet), so at least I have that! Wish me(and mah opponent, Cheesy Q) luck!

Oh, one last thing! Link to the Periodic Table Contest!

Please comment and rate if you like him! See ya guys next time!

He almost looks like a synthesis of system and Bionicle :P! I really like him! The helmet design is very cool! I like the part usage of the HF heads at the arms! The character itself has an excellent build, it's amazing how fluent you integrated the normal system pieces to Hf/Bionicle parts! It's also nice to see that you made use of the old Knight's Kingdom sword. Great work!

Awesome and looks good, BUT I'm not a huge fan of all the lego on it. Meh, it's alright.

Also, it inspired some ideas for a moc I've been working on. I hope you can forgive my earlier rudeness :(

Sorry, I thought I had commented on it earlier :( . I did go through all the pictures, though. I really like the torso, the way you covered the gap for the hero core looks really good in my opinion. The head also looks great, and it flows into the body well. By the way, what piece is that on top of the head?

I'm sorry, Andrew, but just advertising your mocs without even noticing what you're commenting on isn't gonna get me to check out your stuff. That's kind of a rude thing to do.

Quoting Steve The Squid Epic, but I'd like less system. (I'm guessing you don't have much yellow technic/bionicle)
You guess correctly amigo. But don't worry, my future PTC entries(if any) will have a lot less system. :)

Quoting Legofreak2444 ~ Pretty nice, but yeah, I don't like the system chunks that much. Good luck to you and Cheesy! I should upload tomorrow. ;)
Well, I'm sure you can relate with the hardships of limited yellow Bio-bricks. Good luck to you too! :D

Like a lot of the entries so far, this is a good solid build. I like the custom head, and the unique (if a tad simple) torso works well. Like Deus, the idea with the atom was very cool, good work on that. Judging by what you wrote, I'm assuming that you suggested fluorine to Phos to use in the contest. :P

Quoting Deus Otiosus I believe it is almost required of me to like it because of custom ratio and system parts. What I noticed is that you have a unique idea of using a single atom concept in the robot. By the way, do you know what "isotope" means? I liked your creation a lot, but the write-up is pulling it down.
Cody told me it was an element that had more neutrons than protons and electrons, so if I'm wrong in calling it that, take it out with him. :P Well, I've never been the best at descriptions, but I hope the moc makes up for it. :)

Epic build. The mask is one of the best I've seen that isn't an original. And the body design has an interesting use of hero factory limbs. Its like using hero factory limbs the way bionicle limbs were used on titans.

Wow, EPIC buld! Love all the system parts! And that custom head is awesome! I like the neutrons and potons and stuff, that was also a neat feature! Upper legs need a bit more armor, but overall great job! 5/5!
