The Yugoslavian 70's cult classic TV show STARDRIVE is now available on DVD for the first time. These screenshots are from the legendary two-part season 2 cliffhanger "The Smell of Rage". Aired only in Yugoslavia and the Belgian Congo, STARDRIVE can now be purchased on Amazon.com, priced to own.

STARDRIVE is available in both pan-and-scan and widescreen formats. The producers liked this set so much they recycled it 3 times: "A Ship called Bastard" (season 4), "Cry Pluto" (season4), and my favorite "Kill Your Way Out" (Season5. For "Kill Your Way Out!" they simply painted the set red and swapped the forklift with one of those Easter-Island heads. Brilliant.

   Credits:

1] Forklift design and 27.4% of the fuse-box wall detail by R.Scott Rubino.
2] Chucktainer design by Chuck Citrin.
3] Ladder design by your mom.

Little known trivia, Billy (dead guy) was played by a young Slobodan Milosevic. They killed off Billy reportedly because Slobodan wanted to leave to pursue his dream of ethnic cleansing. Slobo was replaced the following season with a female recruit named Wheatina (played by Agnetha Fältskog of ABBA.

In a blatant attempt to capitalize on Agnetha's rising stock, and to boost the show's flagging ratings, the theme song was changed to "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! a Man After Midnight".

I know you kids like blood, so here you go. Think of it as a sort of blood-mosaic, if you will.

Keith's Building Tip #212: When taking W.I.P. advice from friends, remember that they are idiots who really can't build.

This MOC was inspired by Pick-A-Brick, 70's scifi TV, and the microscale work of Mike Yoder. All that yellow infected me somehow.

I don't think I'll ever use a black floor again. Although the reflective properties are cool, they show every damn speck of dust. They say that once you go black, you'll never go back, but I don't know about that.

Stay tuned for more exciting screen-shots of STARDRIVE, and look for R.Scott Rubino's forklift in the upcoming, over-budget, albatross, WaterWorld-like 4 x 12 foot diorama coming this fall.

Why is it that i find myself reading and almost completly ignoring the amazing mocs that you produce. Yellow pick-a-brick tiles $40, trans red pick-a-brick tiles, $10. Blood splattered wall, priceless. What's that smell, oh yes...RRRAAAAGGGEEE!!! Post something soon, I'm having withdrawal symptoms. ~ Chris

Apparently, Keith missed the yellow walls of his mancave so much, he had to build a miniature variant. A man without a mancave is no man at all.

AS usual, you make an outstanding creation, and make everyone else look rubbish. Brilliant! So full of ACTION!

To be mentioned in a Goldman note is a dubious distinction. This thing is pretty great, but makes me miss the good ole days when I lived near a PaB!

Our mutual friend Chuck Citrin is demanding more credit, otherwise he'll sue. This is your last warning. Prepare to face the wrath of a 14-year-old boy with rich Jewish parents.

Now I want to see the Kill Your Way Out version. Though the blood certainly wouldn't show as well. Oh, and are you really building a 4x12 diorama? I really need a Keith Calendar.

i have my calendar marked for the release of your next moc. this is a really good moc, but not quite the scale i'm used to from you. i'm not saying it's bad, though. this is still a great moc, none the less. it's very yellow, sorta like the paste i'm eating right now. i understand your problem with the black parts and the dust. i often come across that in my walk in closet, where all my legos are. while i've never seen this show, this moc makes me curious. perhaps i'll check it out sometime. excelent job again, Keith! ...BBCCD

The lack of jumpsuits is disappointing but forgivable for gratuitous blood. I reviewed it more on Lugnet.

Gone soft in your old age, I guess. First blay, now all this yellow. What's next, the Pastel Reich?
