Imperial AT-PT Walker
This is a LEGO model of the Imperial AT-PT walker of Expanded Universe fame.
About this creation
Where is it from?
The AT-PT (All-Terrain Personal Transport) is an EU (Expanded Universe, which means it was not shown in the movies) vehicle that has been in several books and video games. The games that contain it include Rogue Squadron, Force Commander, and Galactic Battlegrounds. The AT-PT is an old civilian walker that the Empire has upgraded with weaponry for use in patrol duties. It is less powerful than the larger AT-ST, but is more stable and presents a smaller target from the air.

Details on the LEGO:
My LEGO AT-PT is, I think, one of my finest works. It is just about a perfect model of an Imperial All-Terrain Personal Transport. It can comfortably seat a single pilot and can stand in a variety of positions. The guns can point up and down and the hatch can open for easy access. By the way, the grey minifig legs poking out of the bottom of the craft represent some sort of targeting device that is on the AT-PT, which is shaped like a pair of minifig legs. It can be seen in the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels (I own the first edition of the book, not the new one with the Prequel crap in it).

It's simple, but it's good. I made a model with red highlights as well, to go with my Galactic Battlegrounds models. You can see it on my Light AT-PT page.

Here's a side view, which you can compare with the blueprint in the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, if you have one.

It's a little cramped, but it works.

Awesome work! I'm not very good in making walkers but it's obvious to me that you are good at it! Great work!

Great Job!!! This Thing is awesome! I know what it is supposed to look like, so I recognized it right away. The stripe pattern on the lower leg and the color of the window make it very authentic. However, there's just one thing: I'd add a little more dark grey to the cabin to balance it out a little. Supreme!!!

I have the Force Commander game and this is pretty good MOC of AT-PT. Most of the structure is correct, but I think that you could make the cockpit more "round". But any way, very good job.
