About this creation

I liked how the original Shannonia turned out well enough to build an expansion, but this will be it. My small green and tan tiles and 1x1 slopes, the backbone of my microarchitecture, are almost completely wiped out. If I revisit Shannonia again it will probably be far in the future, and in another part of town.
But while I've got you here, let's continue further down Shannonia's fabled Oceanside Strip...

The orange-roofed building is your average convenience store. The yellow and white one is Crazy Larry's Tattoo Parlor, Wedding Chapel, and Kite Shop.

One of those slices of Americana known and reviled the world over, the Shannonia Barber Shop boasts the world's largest barber pole. No, it's really the historic lighthouse. The rocky promontory is another result of a lack of tiles.

A solemn silence please, at the Marion Morrison Memorial Monument. Dedicated to the plight of boychildren given feminine names everywhere. The male Tracys, Staceys, Carrolls, Kims, Danas, and yes, Shannons of the world can find catharsis here.

Prometheus Tower hotel. Built solely as a lightning rod to protect the Monolith, previously the tallest building around.

Ah, the Red House. Due to all the minors on this site, I can't tell you exactly what transpires inside. Let's just say that the lonely and/or drunken gentleman will always find companionship within. Its site next door to the sports bar (and across the street from the wedding chapel) is no coincidence.

Hm... I find this very amusing. I liked your captions and the complexity of something so small. Commander Riker of the Enterprise says, "Captain, I think we've found a new place to take the crew for shore leave, and we might actually get a few extras on the way!" So, i hope you don't mind if my Star Trek people come there for their vacations? But anyways this is awesome and you have a uniquely random sense of humor... Keep it up!
