Need multi-purpose? We got that. Need all-terrain? We got that. Need massive levels of destruction? We got that. Need extremely low levels of giving a s**t? Yeah, we got that too.
About this creation
Enter the new ArcheoGenis Assault Biomech: the Gore elite models are state of the art classical AG frames, heavily armed and capable of taking on even the most ambitious missions!

The Gore is heavily plated with Bionite armor, shielded with Crystal Shield Emitters and it features a Mio-Corp Power Plate as a windshield.

It's armed with a heavy Stream Cannon (overloaded by an additional Core) and a multipurpose "hand" which contains both a strong biomechanical prensile claw and a set of anti-plate plasma blades.

Its stron yet agile frame, and specially designed legs allow both high movement speed and an unusual agility for a mecha of this class. This ensures a good level of defense from heavier, slower weapons.

Its hooved feet can crush infantry and light vehicles like cookies! Hmmm... cookies...

Its back is as heavily armored as its front and top. Its weapons have independent power cores, but they are also wired into its main Core to add more punch.

The canopy is one of the safest among AG models. Though the pilot can't see through the Power Plate when it's powered up, the new formula doesn't heat up as the old one, so now they can be used as windscreens.

The model's "head" is an animatronic prop. It syncs with the Gore's movements but serves no purpose other than to offer a false target. The sensor arrays are under the shoulder plates.

See squad leader Cmdr Evangeline Haas (formerly XO for G.A.I.A.) at the controls.
Her position in AG is not as prominent as it was in GAIA, but AG pays way better.

The Gore, being a simple assault model, doesn't feature an EAP but an ordinary AI to assist the pilot.

Size comparison with the Zector and the Uranus. The Gore is 13.5 mt tall.

Size comparison with the pilot (the scaling has been made considering a minifig 178cm tall).

Note #1: I have decided to try not to dismantle the old mechs to build the new ones. We'll see how it goes.
Note#2: The Gore's upper part was made months ago, but then I got stuck deciding between giving it legs or tracks. My incapability in building decent tracks led to its current form.
Note #3: this was created from the "Rad Stormer" template I made in Some Hero Factory Guys.

Forgot this one, nice design, like an old Power Rangers robot. BTW i am planning to integrate the Mysterion Attack on the Terra Firma Complex into my redone season 1. It will be the new first appearance of Maox in the series, some soldiers dissert to take revenge on a Mysterion ship. |

I'm surprised to see that a lone ball and socket joint could support the entire upper torso as it does. When ever I use one of those pieces it almost always crack and breaks off very quickly! Any hoot, a fine biomecha for your stable without a doubt.
It depends on what kind of connector you use. The 2x2 brick, modified with connector and the new Hero Factory baaic connector are sensibly stronger than the classic Bionicle ones. You can also improve a connector's grip by using a permanent marker on the inside, though you don't need it for a build as small as this. The rest is a matter of proportions, just check the front/back balance ans see how much does each pose put the upper body out of its center of gravity. In the end as you see, you can totally have a stable and playable figure with just one ball joint at the waist. The Futuron Mecha Patrol had just one too, and it was quite bigger. |

Awewsome mecha with sweet proportions and a striking colour scheme. The colours just dont fit the name, exept it is meant to be alien blood! ;-) Love how you did the feet, they´ve had a nice pedicure! ~Cheers
"Gore" is intended as a verb here, it's a rhino reference. |
