About this creation
Today, outside our hotel, sat a brand-spankin'-new Raptor. I photographed it and then got on building. This was the result!
Note: This was built in minifigure scale
Please check out George Staples' Raptor. It is extremely accurate, large-scale, and it even runs on Power Functions!

The Raptor is well-known for its awesome-looking grille.

Like the real truck, my version has black vents on the hood. (or if you live in the UK the vents are on the "bonnet". Yes, I've been watching too much Top Gear. :-)) It also has windshield wipers.

The rear is complete with a tailgate, taillights, and a license plate.

The tailgate can also open.

Another shot of my nifty little windshield wiper. ;-)

This picture kinda gives you an idea of what the chassis looks like.

If you haven't noticed already, the windshield is SNOTted.

Lastly, a side shot.
Shots of the real thing:
Thanks for checking out my LEGO Ford F-150 SVT Raptor, and if you thought it was cool, please rate and comment.
See ya guys!
~Fritz

:) They are freakin' awesome trucks. I think you did a good job with the front. The side view is the best. I'm not sure about the windshield wiper.. It looks a little big. Thanks for referencing me.
Yeah I guess I should have kept the wiper off. Nevertheless, thanks for the comment, George! |

Nice work! Pretty cool for this scale, but it's not the easiest to recognize what car this is. :) Speaking of sighing cool cars, I saw a Ferrari FF on Sunday and a F430 earlier this week (there's a photo of the F430 on Flickr in case your interested). :) -LB Jr.
Awesome! I'll check it out. Yesterday I saw a BRAND NEW FERRARI 458 ITALIA!!! It was yellow. I really hope LEGO makes a 458 set. |

Awesome, though I don't think Top Gear "fancy" a pickup truck. (I watched the Ford Lightening pick-up review) |

Very cool dude! Looks great better in LEGO than in real life ;-) I'd love to have your support for my CUUSOO project http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/16897 appologies if I've asked you already ;-) Keep up these great builds Fritz I like them!
Thanks for the comment, Tom! Yes, I supported now. 498 Supporters already! Your idea will TOTALLY go through. Also, it will be so easy for LEGO to say yes, because it's not a branded or copyrighted product, therefore they don't have to pay money or anything. Would you mind if I put you on my homepage under "Friends"?
