35 years after my first LEGO creations I decided to start all over again. Older, wiser but no less playful. Enjoy!
About this creation
When building LEGO set 7930 (Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship) I was captivated by the nice minifig of Aurra Sing.
So I decided to give her a nice early retirement on earth after her wild adventures as a Bounty Hunter. This led to my first modular house and my very first MOC.
I gave Aurra Sing a barber shop. Sort of: she now cares about hair and nails.
Yes, there is a sticker. Some hate it, but I thought I needed just ONE. The barber shop sign on the right of the building came by itself after playing around with some small parts.
Ground floor: to the right the swivel barber chair and the mirror. In the left corner there's a small kitchen.
Another look at the same.
The kitchen. Modular houses are normally 16 studs wide but mine is 18. This is because I didn't have enough bricks 1 x X. On the other hand, building walls two studs wide offer some advantages as you can see by the recesses in the walls. You'll see more of this on the second floor.
Top view of the first floor: bathroom, bed and Aurra's computer desk.
Right now I'm not satisfied about the roof so I will eventually build an attic which she can use as her bedroom. The first floor will then be changed to a normal living room.
Aurra at her desk. What is she looking at? MOCpages?
The bathroom (toilet plus shower) as seen from above. I liked building this very much. I stole the idea for the toilet from the Pet Shop, but the shower is my own creation.....
Another look at the bathroom.
Overall view from the back side with Aurra just going downstairs.
As said before this is my first MOC and the first I'm publishing. Comments are welcome, but please be kind to a child: I'm only 6 months into LEGO ;-)
