Yes, the tag axle works very well and so does the suspension. If you have ever studied a tag axle on a real semi truck of any type, you will find that how one works is there is basicly regular air ride solid axle suspension and an air bag that goes between a mount on the frame one each side and it pushes against an L shaped beam when inflated to lift the axle and the actual suspension air bag deflates.

Nice T-800. The tag axle is very good. I like how it actually has suspension on it.
