The Sui-Class Cruiser was created as an air defense ship of the PLAN. It was meant to have the most advanced radar, sensors, and CIC so that it could track hundreds of targets for the numerous SAMs. It has 112 VLS launchers which house the numerous SAMs and cruise missiles along with RAF and CIWS for point defense, and a 5 in. gun. The ship holds a single helicopter and has some stealth capabilities. The Sui-Class cruiser will lead the PLAN towards a new generation of more advanced ships meant to do a specialized role.
