I know, I know. This is an old design that has been around forever. I have decided to post it because I haven't seen it for a while. My brother wanted an Energy Sword for the Legos, so this is it. I have also made a green Energy Sword, so if you would like the pictures, let me know. I will post them as a separate creation.
I wonder who will win this one... Hard to tell, isn't it?
Ooh, it looks like the blue Spartan has preveiled! That must have been a really tough fight. Ok, to those of you who did not read the homepage, go to it and read it. DO NOT COMPARE US TO SABER SCORPION! I do not want to cut up Lego pieces to get a stinking Energy Sword. I hate it when we are compared to him. Also, thank you, Cheesy and Shane. You guys understand. However, Master M and AJ obviously did not read the homepage. And GIR, Shane is right. That is the only way to make it without destroying Lego pieces. Won't you guys lighten up?!
A quick update- just to let you know, Saber-Scorpion agrees with us that this is the only "Purist" way to make an Energy Sword that looks good. Here is what he said in his response to me:
"Yes, the binoculars/lightsaber blades method is the best "purist" (the term LEGO builders usually use for no cutting/gluing/painting, etc.) method for making the energy sword that I've yet seen. It's not perfect, but I don't know a better one. And admittedly, my own method isn't really that great either. For one thing, I should have made it bigger... but then, I never planned to make my Spartans and Elites this big when I first made it, so..."
i give you five why ? because is a good way even if really comon is the best way tho do a energy sword and even when i admire scorp his model ( sorry for this but is my point of view) really sucks its too .... too short .
So this is my favorite mode ^^
