CF-12 Sea Hornet
This is, till now, my best (and only) WW2 themed aircraft - It is a carrier based fighter. Compared to the minifig, it is a bit big.

Length: 36 studs
Gear down - 13 studs, Gear up - 9 studs
Tail-span: 16 studs

Another view of the side

Prop again - the stud in the centre of the orange dis is the 30mm cannon
And the blue and black part just behind the prop is the 15mm MG

Here you can see the armament more clearly

Engine exhaust - this is where the engine is mounted.

Inside the cockpit - i didn't have space to put a stick. The blue thing on top of the instruments is the gun-sight.

Tail wheel - WW2 single engined fighters didn't have retractable tail-wheel

Main gear down

Gear bay opening (yes, i know that will create a lot of drag - but i couldn't find a better option)

Gear inside the gear bay

Main gear fully retracted.

Notice that hinge there....

AHA! Carrier based fighters got to have folding wings.

Actually, that I know of, the P-51D had a retractable tail wheel, and it was a Single-engine, Single-seat Escort and Air Superiority Fighter, or as Fighters were called back then, Pursuit aircraft. Either way, incredible model! the design of the rudder, for example is simple, yet effective. This plane has fully-movable control surfaces and a fully retracting landing gear--very impressive. I give it a 5/5.

As with all your planes, proportions are captured well and shaping is excellent throughout.
