About this creation

Welcome to my latest MOC, inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. This is my largest MOC to date, and took at least 4-5 months (and countless Bricklink orders!) to complete. This scene is from the 7th and final book of the series The Last Battle. This is one of three towers in Lantern Waste which the kings of Narnia built for protection. In the story, King Tirian has just been rescued by Eustace Scrubb and Jill Pole, and they use the tower as their base for the remainder of the book. If you haven't read it, you certainly should!
Here's a minifig's-eye view of the tower.

The door (arch inspired by Dan Church).

Those trees took a lot of Bricklink orders to complete!

The back of the tower, which is removable for interior viewing.

The top of the tower is also removable (though it fits rather snugly, thus prone to coming apart when removed).

The materials for their disguises. Calormene scimitars, armor, turbans, shields, and even the juice that will turn their skin a darker color!

The minifigs: King Tirian of Narnia, Eustace Scrubb, and Jill Pole.

I love this scene in the book and your amazing build looks just like i imagined it to look like! |

Me too, Ian! I really need to build something Narnia. I love the books, (That I have read) And the movies are incredible. There aren't enough builds. Jill and Eustace are amazingly designed, exactly how I imagined them. Tirian is also a great figure, and the Tower is fantastic! Though I imagined it to be in a learning of a wood. |

Lovely job, I am especially fond of your hinge design on the door - very clever on that one. Lee.
Thanks, Lee! That's actually not my design; I've seen a few people use it before. :) |
