Private Library
I always wanted to make my own library! So, here it is! Fancy, don't you think? ;) Well, enough talk, on to the MOC!
About this creation

This is the minifig I used(duh). I think the old man matches the private library.
Old man: "Who do you think you're calling old man!? And what are you doing in my library!? I'm calling the police!"
Uh... Let's move on, shall we?

Here's this lamp, it goes nicely with the whole thing. It's simple, but satisfying.
Old man: "Hah! Satisfying!? This piece of junk is worthless! It gives me no light at all! And I hate this book! Why did you make me read this!? I'm calling my lawyer!"
You don't have a lawyer! You're a minifigure! And I'm having second thoughts about putting you in this MOC now...

And the top view.
Old man: "This library is much too small! And I don't even like libraries! Couldn't you have made something more exciting!?"
That's it! I'm taking you out! Grumpy old man...

Ahh... Bliss... Here's the book-shelf. This is my favorite part. Putting up the books was the most annoying and time-consuming thing I ever did! :P At first I made the top all flat, but I decided that was too bland, so I put the cheese slopes in. It looks much better now. By the way, I didn't only use 1x2 flat tiles. I ran out of those. So, my brother Calvin suggested grills. It worked great, because you can't even tell!

And the bare platform. So there you have it, I hope you liked it!

Quoting Mark Murphy Very well done, though I don't like the figure's face.
Yes, well, I am to blame for that... I wanted to use some old man's face, but I didn't think Count Dooku likes to read... So I used this Death Watch trooper's head. :P

Quoting Christopher Baldacci Neato! This is a really clever idea. I like how you did the booksheves and how you SNOTted the floor with brown bricks instead of just brown tiles. The fig is pretty cool too. You put an otherwise ugly and wrinkled Clone Wars head to good use! Great job!
Haha, yes! The figure is pretty ugly, and is good to use for an old man! xD

Quoting David. (Formerly Pedolium Panthorium) I don't think the minifig matches the build because the face of the fig is ugly.... Great job! An easier way to to the books is have 1x2s with bumps however many and then put a flat 1x2 on the end. :D Hope it helped! I can't imagine how long it took to stack all those books! Keep it up! God Bless ~ David.
Yes, I would have used that idea if I ran out of 1x2 flat tiles. Psst... I cheated a little. I didn't have enough flat tiles so I used grills! You can't notice a thing! ;)
