For the Lands of Classic-Castle. This is a Local Challenge for the Outlaws. "What are you in for?" I depicted the scene in my character, Hrunting's, history in which his young war-party suffers a great defeat. This is a small bunch of Bull warriors who have broken from the main massacre and have holed up after a running battle.
About this creation
The Bull war-party has been fending off Garheim forces all day. After the initial conflict at the front, the remnants of the force have been fighting a running retreat. At a lonely stump, a band of Elites push back wave after wave of Garhims. As fresh Garheim forces arrive, three able-bodied warriors offer to defend the makeshift barrier so the wounded can escape escorted by the grandson of the Warlord and youngest Bull, Hrunting, as well as the women who stuck with the retreat.
The clash of battle carried to Hrunting's ears.
Baron Turq's personal forces had come. The heavy pike-men were well trained and deadly.
In one swift blow the baron quashed our great aspirations for province wide control. Our priorities shifted from victory to survival.
I will do my duty and I will always remember my comrades who did their's.
Hammond: The youngest of the three. His skills are fresh, but you would be hard pressed to find a more ferocious Bull.
Airick: A strong man. His shield is double weighted. In a skirmish, Airick always goes for the Loreesi.
Visor: The second in command of our band and an experienced swordsman. If you can imagine the precision of a Loreesi paladin without the foppishness, you will come close to Visor's prowess.
Edgar: Our captain, Edgar took great pains to preserve unity on the harrowing running retreat. His wounded side never kept him from encouraging each one of us personally.
Annabelle: Handy in a tight spot, she always stayed close to her husband and cared for his shock and blood loss.
Old Tenner and his children Daisy and Dirk. All these refugees were heading for the Lenfald border and I was to keep them safe.
It was too late too help my mentor, Helfax. He died a warriors death.
