ARX-28 Battlehawk
Well, it's finally done. I present you, the ARX-28 Battlehawk! It was actually a rework of my previous attack helicopter: the ARX-29 Viper. The Viper had a few things I was not satisfied with, so I took it apart and saved the main frame and added on to it. Enjoy my pics!
About this creation

Sorry slightly dark on my photos.

A close up on the rotors.

Triple ARAAM-99 Heat-seeking missiles with a backup laser guiding system. The same thing is on the other side. You can also see a little bit of the 30mil heavy machine gun pods fitted on the bottom

Some additional shots.

You can see a bit of the 25mil anti-personal chin gun.

Cockpit.

Final shot.
Oh, and I actually got a minifig to get in the cockpit and jam it shut! Huh? You don't believe me?! Well TOO BAD! Seriously. No, really. The uploader didn't upload the pic proving it and I was too lazy to redo it. What?! Fine! Believe what you like; it doesn't change the truth does it! (In case you didn't get that, it was merely a fact that I could never fit a minifig into my MOCs and something my friends tease about.)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It was fun to try making another twin-rotor helicopter, and I'm pretty happy with the results, although not entirely. Please tell me what I should improve on. And thanks to Matthew McCall and Vanguard for the nice idea to angle the rotors out a bit. Thanks for viewing and be sure to rate and comment!

Quoting Zach "gothambygaslight" L. SO amazing! I love the Halo games and it looks like it came straight from them! BTW you should put a troop bay in the back.
Thanks :) Many people have said the same, but I actually dont play Halo :D

Quoting Michael Rutherford Mastermind. I have sent you an invite to my current group, Decisive Action. It's a war game, and there are more than three rules, but we really need more talented builders to raise the bar (not to mention the need to illustrate what decent conversation looks like). I hope you take a look. And as always... ATTACK!
Sure, I'll join as soon as I have time!

Quoting JosephC 123 I am amazed at how you managed to hold the engines up with a single hinge piece. What's ur secret?
Actually, the engine is very light; its basically hollow inside. I don't really remember if this is correct, but I believe I used a sort of locking technique to jam the engine upright at that angle.

Quoting Justin L. This thing reminds me of the Falcon from Halo: Reach. How did you get the angled sides to fit with the rest of the ship?
It's kinda hard to explain, buy I used a 1x2 hinge thing and put it on a side facing stud block. I might post a photo on how I did it.

Quoting Michael Rutherford Mastermind, Re-builds (MKIIs, MKIIIs, as I call them) almost always result in imporvement. Sometimes people want everything to be new new new. But I find that by focusing on a single MOC and fixing or imporving feature after feature, you can attain pretty high levels of sophistication, or just plane coolness. (By the way... your dragon icon was better than this new "Dancing Pilot" ... just say'n). Attack!
Haha thanks. I rather despised my "Dancing Pilot" one but hadn't had time to change it lol. I'm changing it back now :)

Quoting Michael Rutherford Again, lethality in gray. I like the robust power plants. But I think the props could be longer. At there current length, it seems like no matter how fast they spun, you would never achieve real military style over-lift. Power and maneuverability are the VTOLs bread and butter. Again though, it looks great! Glad to see you taking a look around on TFC. Hope you like it. Jump in and mix it up! I think the younger builders are waiting to see what other people build. Attack!
Thanks for your suggestions! I'll make the rotors longer and possibly re-add it.

Quoting Matthew McCall Awesome improvements! The detailing is great and overall it looks more aggressive. I can't tell if you are serious about getting a minifig in or not :P I would just like to say stryker is a wierd name to choose because the apc was named after a person.
Yes I'm dead serious. I'll try to get a pic showing it and upload it lol

Quoting Tim C Nice improvements, Mastermind. Still love the angles. The front end looks a lot meaner now and those dual props are gorgeous. What? You had a minifig in there, but no pics? You may as well have told me that you saw a dragon get into a wrestling match with a unicorn until it was broken up by bigfoot who was wearing a leprechaun as a hat;) Maybe next time, huh?
Heheheheh guess I'll just add the pic again!!
