This is my first ever Mocpages upload! With Marvel /DC Comics officially in Lego's camp, it seems only natural to start doing more stuff in the superhero genre. I always loved Marvel Legends scale figures because of thier detail and size. So in my first entry in a series of hero's I started with my favorite: The Merc with a Mouth DEADPOOL. In the works/ not yet photgraphed Batman (Either Arkham City or The Dark Night Version, Captain America, and Spawn. I also Have a Teknomeka scale Robo-Cop about 50% Complete. So more to come!

You sir have done your homework. lol I stand corrected.
Yeah, this is the same rights issue that prevents Spider-Man or the X-men From being in an Avenger's Movie, Unfortunatley Sony and 20th Century Fox have the movie rights to many of Marvel's best properties, so while they can coexist in other mediums (Comics, TV, Lego) They Cannot in Movies. In other words, what's bad for movies is good for LEGO. Thanks for posting, hope I didn't come off rude, I've just been answering that one a lot. ;) |

Megablocks still sells their Spiderman series, which means they probably have an agreement with Marvel. So, Lego selling anything like this doesn't look too good at the moment. That's only my take on it though.
See my rant from cuusoo:
lego has the rights to produce Spider-Man The comic book, and any Marvel Property to which Disney(see many other lego disney sets, Including the new spider man set with doc ock an iron fist) owns the rights. Sony Pictures owns the rights to the film version of the amazing spider-man which they sold to megablocks. Which is why Megablocks only' has spider-man and the lizard. I'm propsing the COMIC BOOK VERSION aka the one disney which licences Marvel COMICS which they CAN produce.

See this brand new spiderman set coming out.
Sorry for the cut and paste response, but I've had this comment a few times now and it was quicker than retyping- thanks for your post. |

Wow! This MOC is truely great! I can't say it's amazing because that adjective goes along with your Spiderman. Anyway, I remember when Deadpool first showed up in the comics and ended up with his own due to popularity. You got this one dead on! (Pardon the pun.) I really like all his little toys and how you attach them without sacrificing any posability! I added you onto my favs because I read your Spiderman comments and am looking forward to seeing more. Excellent work! Keep 'assembling'.
Quite a compliment! Thank you Raymond! I agree Deadpool deserves his due. . A sign that the times are changing, Deadpool was one of the only X-men characters to make it on the first wave of sets. It's also great to see my creation get a little more exposure due to my two more popular creations, in fact I will be posting a link shortly to a new article posted about him-Oh and I'm glad you caught my not so subtle hint at the future, I've definitely made quite a challenge for myself, stay tuned!

Amazing. If I were you I would put all my figures in a display case. Do you own a marvel encyclopedia? if not I suggest buying one. It contains every marvel character ever made. It also has tons of info, back stories, and pics. It also includes bodily info like height and weight. Cheers on a great MOC. ~8) |

This is absolutely amazing! The mount of detail put into construction of the muscles and such blows my mind! Great build! Now do Iron man!
Thank you! It was really important for me to keep it as realistic as I could get it. Prob not going to do iron man right away. War machine first if anything. Dark knight Batman is well under way though. I even bought a darth vader cape on brick link. |

Excellent work! You've got alot of great detail on him. The articulation is cool. Looking forward to your future works, Robocop, Batman. I just started making large LDD figs a couple months ago. It is addictive. Any chance you've got a Punisher in the works?
Thank you! Nice work to you as well, prob no punisher, I'm sticking with guys with masks and/or cowls for now. I've been wanting to do this forever, in fact I started doing it in LDD but when I got to thelegs I knew I needed trial and error so he can stand and be posed. Appreciate the feed back. |
