I would like to place an idea for your next engine, I think it would be awesome if you attempted a Ferrara Igniter rescue pumper. Please take it into consideration thank you.-Tyler

Paulo, you sound like Zako over the Sutphen, and the Sutphen Guardian has regular headlight.
  June 7, 2012
Headlights aren't the problem, its the shape and unglyness of the truck, I hate them, and how they look, to tell you the truth, I don't think I have even commented on a sutphen creation, because I hate em, lol

Sorry I didn't comment yesterday! I had hockey practice and then I fell asleep... This rig is just AMAZING! I might start doing the extra 1/3 brick above the grill.

Wow, you from new england? Man so is my family! But any ways, down in the Caribbean E-Ones last pretty long, and we get salt water rust like crazy! Pierce has the contract for all our Engines, believe it or not out of our 136 engines, I believe only 5 are not Pierce, so that gives you an Idea, I hear Suckphins have hydraulic issues allot, and their ugly... lol

Quoting Jon D @Paulo- E-ones are probably some of the best trucks around. My department still has their cyclones from 1997 as reserves and the city next to my county has a 1998 e-one command unit. I live in Florida and just about every department has or had an E-one at some point in time. My dept is running 2005 typhoons as front line units still.
E-One trucks aren't too good up here. The aluminum chassis on the older Hurricanes rot from the harsh New England weather. Same with KME up here. It's only RI, so it's still southern New England. Sutphen, Pierce, Maxim, and believe it or not Ferrara lasts up here. I don't know why Providence buys E-One if they wear down fast, eh, the city is going bankrupt in 5 years so they can't buy much. E-One ladder trucks are pretty good from what I've heard.

You said it! Ferrara stinks, really does I mean they have nice looking trucks, but they aren't reliable. The municipality next to me got 2 new Ferraras a couple of years ago, a Engine and Heavy Rescue, both have been out for repairs, our trusty E-One has been picking up most of their calls, I believe one of our Special Rescues(which are ladder trucks) is being placed there, due to the fact that both rigs are almost never in service to issues!

Just throughing some ideas around. Same thing with the contender, we bought 3 2008 models to run in our busier areas. They got a new color scheme and everything! Just keep them nice rigs coming huh! ;)

Quoting Jon D I only say try the FDNY style is because in rural and farmland, trucks carry a lot more gear than Urban style pumpers. In my area the trucks we have carry, firefighting gear, brush gear, technical rescue gear, and EMS gear (ALS). They use E-one rescue pumpers and Pierce Contenders. Just look around online, I'm sure you'll find a nice rural pumper design.
I hear what you are saying, and that gear will be in the next rig I make. The FDNY style is Urban. They don't carry much gear, but this truck also has gear mounted on the side of the body. E-One is not a very good brand in my opinion, same with Ferrara. Pierce is nice though, I like the Contendor chassis.

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez well, I think it gives a better proportional look, or maybe even have 2 trans clear plates on top of each-other, the problem with this is it makes the front to KME looking, maybe its the grill style as well, lol but its ok, I have my issues with every truck built!
Yes I understand what you are saying, and I was leaning more toasted Zak O's Pierce design, where he uses the same kind of grille pieces and headlights. Hey, we can both agree that Ferrara sucks! One district in my town has 3 Inferno engines: a 2006, a 2002, and a 2000. The 2006 is always out for electrical repairs but the other ones which are OLDER are fine :D

Quoting Jon D Nice, but maybe make it with an FDNY style body, to increase storage. Other than that nice work.
I was trying to avoid FDNY style. I don't like their style at all. This is a rural style pumper best fit for farmland and wooded areas. I can see where the 4 hard suctions on the side would make you think that though. And that particular FDNY style is more of a Seagrave or Ferrara look.

Quoting Paulo Rodriguez Nice, I think the headlights could use some work, and the way you did the raised roof is a little weird, I would add a plate under the cheese slopes, to give it a better smooth look
I will probably fix the roof but the headlights are fine. How could they use work? I think the 1x1 bricks with the 1 stud in the side make the rig look to much like a cartoon because it exaggerates the headlights too much.

I really like this rig! I can only say 1 improvement and that is the raised roof should be 1/3rd of a brick higher. I really like the Enforcer and I am glad someone actually made one. I hope to see more rigs coming soon Anthony!
