'Arrowhead' class Command ship
The biggest class of ship ever constructed by Mason Shipyards.
About this creation
'Arrowhead' class Command ships are the biggest ships to ever see service in the Fleet; at 4km long, 1km wide at the widest point, and 750m tall at the tallest point, it is easy to see why. Due to the time and expenses, economically and resource-wise, only 5 have been constructed to date:
Arrowhead
Trafalgar
Jerusalem
Arcadia
Tempest
Out of those, only the Tempest has been destroyed.

Command ships are usually seen in significant fleet engagements, as would be expected. Lately, they have also been used in border conflicts with the Blacktron to halt any advance into friendly space.

The Trafalgar is the most renowned vessel of the class, noted for serving with distinction in several situations. The Trafalgar has also taken on ships of double it's own size and emerged victorious. The two Heavy Lancer Cannons can be suggested as the primary reason behind these victories.
Lancer Cannons are the most effective particle weapon in service. A charged stream of particles is fired at super high velocity, capable of annihilating shielding and punching straight through the hull of even the largest ships. So, it's easy to see why two of these deadly weapons can make short work of a ship twice the size of an 'Arrowhead' class. However, the electromagnetic coils that are used to accelerate the beam have a series of capacitor relays that need to recharge for roughly 5 minutes between shots.

The bridge can be seen here, alongside some turrets and other equipment.

Part of the engineering system. All external equipment is heavily armoured. The glass domes are reinforced and offer the crew some relaxation. Crew quarters are located in this section of the ship.

The rear of the ship houses sensors. Two Dual Ultra-Heavy Plasma turrets can be seen.

Underside.

The hangar bay of the ship is located underneath the bridge, and is vast, at 300m long, 200m wide, and 150m tall. It houses 20 squadrons of fighters of varying class, alongside gunships, and even Destroyers or smaller Battle-cruisers.

These pods slung underneath the ship house the Orbital Drop Pods- each larger pod holds about 150 smaller drop pods. The tower section protruding from the underside is the detention facility.

A comparison next to my relatively new Alienware M11xR3 laptop (I've had it for about a month and a half now). The model is pretty big next to this awesome machine.

End notes:
This, undoubtedly my best miniscale ship yet, took in the region of 6 hours to build. The construction was also interrupted by a leak in one of the pipes connected to one of the water tanks in my room, which was a pain in the backside. That still needs fixing (as of the time this was posted), but anyway, inspiration for this has to go to this: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/326370
Take a look at his model, it's really good.
Anyway, leave a comment or rating, or something. After all the effort, it'd be a shame to not see this get any recognition... ok, that's asking for a beating, isn't it? Sorry :P
