I kept looking at EMMA'S Wadding Pool and ANDREA'S Day at the Beach and felt it needed more. Then I saw the new SUMMER 2012 sets and saw: Set #3937 Olivia's Speed Boat and realized EMMA's MOC needed a REVISION so MIA'S Day at the Beach was born - also I wanted to include more of the elements of ANDREA's Day at the Beach (a poly-bag promotional)like the fish and crab. I added a sea shell for good measure! I also studied the instruction book and box cover and realized I needed a fence! To look at and compare and see how this MOC was born you can follow this link: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/313623
I also like the fact the "beach" has more room for her to wander about.
And those who love to compare all 3 sets that this MOC was developed on are at the end of this MOC!
About this creation
For one year I will honor, remember and respect the victims of 9-11. Each of my creations will have a 9-11 memorial starting off the page. I'd like to give a big handshake, hug, kiss to all the people here on MOCpages that remembered by creating WORLD TRADE CENTER buildings done in LEGO you too honor the fallen of 9-11 GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!
I've seen LEGO friends brand for sale and even considered buying a set, for the parts, but I guess I really can't fit those minifigs on the medieval subject (eheh). I specially love the crabs and fish, and good call on adding the shell

Nice work merging the ideas here! It looks a tad cluttered, but that could be fixed just by taking out an accessory or two.
Thank you, I may do another photo shoot, to show the beach pail not attached to the sand and the crab not in the water as both are separated in ANDREA'S Day at the Beach, that may un tad the clutter! See old dogs can learn new tricks! WOOF!
