The notion of constructing the evacuation ship began with the unexpected discovery of a functional Artificial Intelligence (AI) module in the ruined hulk of a terran ship which had been destroyed during the final battle for Neugarten. Shortly after the AI was re-activated, it quickly assessed the situation, and convinced the surviving terrains that self evacuation would actually be possible. The AI would prioritize and direct the construction effort, and would of course sever as the "Brain" for the ship when it was ready to launch. EX-COM SENDS: CHALLANGE 1: Build the AI. About this creation

Shortly before the catostrophic events of the Battle for Buegarten, Microbiologist Kate Ourk and Engineer Josh Tiblet were experimenting with a unit that could think like a human with out any imperfections. If this was Successful the possibilities of winning this war were way higher than they had been before. Between the two of them they devoloped a purple goo known as ACIS or Artificially created Intelligent Substance. The information about it was highly secure and made known only to President Rutherford. The goo was completly inorganic and was like nothing anyone had ever seen before. It required no food or energy but could supply almost unreal rates of energy. ACIS could think for itself and was shown to be more superior to human and alien life. President Rutherford ordered it to be tested on the battle of Neugarten. Ourk and Tiblet quickly made a human manned module to help the system when needed and provide defense for it if the room was breached. Unfortunatly the ACIS never reached the battleship it was headed too and was shot down before it reached it.
We were defeated and trapped on Nuegarten. But the ACIS has been found and to our surprise is fully functional. It couldn't have been found at a better time. With this we could make an evacutation ship to escape the toxins which will kill us in five weeks. Commander Rutherford has set up Exodus Command or Ex-Comm To organize our recources and talent to get us off this rock.

The AI room is very snall and compact. it is ment for one human beeing to fit inside.
Along the wall Laser Guns are positioned in case of an attack on the ACIS. The Human can defend it. Please not when recruiting the ACIS-PATH (ACIS-PATH is the human inside the ACIS MODULE) the human must be highly intelligent and also a good soldier.

The Module is constucted from and alloy called IHY-7346-JJII. It is extremely hard and capable of resisting temperatures of up to 2.5 thousand kelvin. The ACIS is extremely Radio active so please were a Suit when inside.
WHen connected to a ship, the ACIS is connected to all the workings of a ship and has total control of it. It sends its thought waves into the black antena which generates the commands to the rest of the ship. THe ACIS can be plugged into comms and other forms of communication to speak with the crew of the ship. It is self sufficent and can power the ship with out running out of energy.

Boatswain's mate Shadslayer. This is the kind of speed that might get us off of Neugarten in time! It is a fast build, but so far... it's the only build. Until another AI is posted, this one will be the best. After that... we shall see what we shall see. It's not the most complex build ever, but it will do.
