Sexy! By the way, you're from the Southwest? Where? I'm from San Diego.
I currently reside in a bunker at an undisclosed location somewhere in the Sonoran Desert. |

Nice, bro - Love the color work!
Thanks Mark! I love the way that Lichtenstein's work captures a sliver of time and just hints a situation or meaning to the viewer, leaving the viewer to project his or her own thoughts into the work. |

Also a nice one. You know what I'd have done? I'd have used tiles for the black, blue, red and yellow parts and plates for the skin and lips to simulate the halftone dots.
Thanks Xeno! I always appreciate feedback and critique. Here's a bit of my thought process ...I gave that some thought at the beginning, but decided not to use tiles for a few reasons. I find tiles distracting, studs have a way of blending together where tiles create patterns of their own. I would have had to use tons of plates underneath the tiles to prevent any relief issues. And most importantly, they don't make the range of tiles I would have needed in DARK BLUE :) I only used black on the frame, not the picture itself. Although it is hard to pick up (especially in a photo) I made the call to use dark blue to make it appear more 'ink like'. It's pretty subtle, but I think it made all the difference.
