An attack helicopter I made. It is armed with two 30mm underwing cannons, a chin mounted chain gun and 4 missiles of either radar-guided fire-and-forget air to ground, or radar-guided air-to-air.
Close up on cockpit side. Note the cockpit armor, wing mounted cannons, missiles and jet engines.
Cockpit.
Cockpit open, with my pilot sig-fig. The cockpit is actually pretty roomy.
Rotor shaft and some detailing
Main rotor. Yes! A five-bladed rotor! Incredibly hard to make with Legos! How did I do it? YOU'LL NEVER KNOW! I'LL KEEP IT TO MYSELF! IT'LL HAUNT YOU TO YOUR GRAVE! MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
Okay, whatever, I'll show you how I did it. Pretty simple, the most difficult part is spacing them.
Belly. Here you can better see the weaponry. I did not put any landing gear because it makes it look awful. I might try to add some on version 2.0
Close up on the chain gun. Based extensively on Mastermind's design.
Here you can sorta see the side/belly shaping.
Another view at a different angle.
Fourth wall
I'm actually not happy with this version, it was more of a rough prototype. When viewed from the side it looks kinda squashed. I want to bulk up the cockpit area a bit, move the wings back and smooth it up some. I do like the many angles I built in, especially around the cockpit and underneath right behind the cockpit.
Nice done! I liked that cockpit armor design you have! Mine was actually held on by less then a stud and would fall off easily. And amazing rotor design! 5/5!
