Yes, I'm actually posting a minifig MOC. I know, it's not something I usually (ever) do, but we need some defense against the Asi-Geedah if we're going to get off Neugarten alive. And no, I'm not isane, this is an entry for the Marine Detachment Building Challenge in The Final Countdown. (You should join!)
A MARDET (MARine DETachment) marine. They all wear a golden glove on their weapon hand. This indicates not only their right to weild lethal weapons, but reminds them of the responsibility that comes with such a right.
The MARDETCOM. (MARine DETachment COMmand sergeant major) He too has the golden glove, and he wields a more powerful plasma blaster and an energy shield.
Thanks for stopping by, and try not to hold this against me... ;)
Crewman Ravenchist. Youíre out of control! Go eat a heavy meal and take a nap! Three MOCs in a day. Bam! I need to get my goggles. It's too much action for me to take. OK. I need to focus. Letís check the SPECs: Blue? Yes. Helmets? Yes. Guns? Yes. 1xMARDETCOM? Yes. 4xMarines? Yes. Right down the line by the numbers. Very Marine. I like the MARDETCOM, shield and all. But it saddens me a little that he looks so different from the rest of his Marines. Marines like uniformity. The "Michael Jackson Golden Glove of Death Dealing and Responsibility". Ravenchist, that is PURE CRAZY TALK! But I dig it! Talk about keeping your pimp hand strong! When they high five each other... does it clank? It's this bit of unexpected strangeness that really puts these guys off the beaten path. I say Rock on!
